Painted in 2006 as part of a popular series based on collegiate wrestling. The idea was to show conflict. The beautiful, well- muscled figures struggle and compete for various reasons; to show strength, to prove manhood, and explore the idea of what victory and defeat may actually mean. 

The wrestlers are dressed in bright bold uniforms that look alike. In fact the wrestlers of this series look alike; showing that all struggles are ultimately with the self.
