Sue Hall | Lake City, Florida USA

Sue Hall grew up in Lake City, which is known as The Gateway to Florida. She started painting when she was around ten years old.
On Sunday afternoons, after church and lunch, her parents would take a nap. The paints would take over the dining room table. The only paints in town were the watercolor sets
the children used in school. The paper she used were the paper sacks from the grocery
store. She painted animals from the magazines her father read.

Now, Sue's paint of choice is acrylic using gallery wrap of all sizes. She has been known to paint on old saw blades, window panes, and tin.
Her folk art or rustic paintings capture the past life of the rural South. She has won many awards in local art shows.

Sue is a founding member of the Art League of North Florida, based in Lake City. She helped start a program that displays art work at the local Hospice.
For the name of Sue's studio, she took the first letter from her middle name, added her last name, and added two more words to form “SHALLHAVEART”.

It is her desire that everyone shall have art.
