"Three Sisters in Fall Light, Yosemite Valley" 2009 | Photograph, Hand-Printed "C" Print No. 10 of 15 | Size = 8" X 10"

The gold tones in the meadow and mountain grays in the afternoon sunlight on a November day in Yosemite. The viewpoint is an oft overlooked spot by tourists as you head out of Yosemite Valley that gives a panorama view of the valley looking toward a distant half dome. My brother's theory on why few stop here is that after a day of ogling the spectacular waterfalls and formations, most people do not see a serene meadow and the Three Sisters peaks reflecting in the river as a"view".

I do my own photo printing using archival papers and inks that, according to the manufacturers, are environmentally friendly and are rated at 100 years when framed under UV glass and out of direct sun.
