Joy is a key image from Rachel Marsden's series The Outsiders.  In this series she explores the ability of balloons to metaphorically play out human emotions.  Like humans they get tangled up in each other, they feel lonely, they reflect on lifes mysteries and they dance for joy in the sunlight.

As Sylvia Plath described them, they are 'Soul Animals'.  Joy is printed on archival canvas, stretched and ready to hang.
