"Moosca" 2009 | Oil on Canvas | Size = 16" X 20"

Acrylic and oil paint along with colored pencils, crayon and graphite pencil on a premium rear stapled canvas. I begin my paintings with an ivory colored background on canvas. Then adding and subtracting paint and drawings over a period of days and weeks, sometimes months.  Using graphite pencil , crayon and oil stick I create abstract marks and scribbles along with the more representational forms of nature and animals. In this way I create a landscape picture in a combined expressionistic and traditional style.
