"Yellowstone Bighorn" 2009 | Oil on Board | Size = 8" X 10"

I was inspired to paint this after a special trip to Yellowstone Nat’l Park last spring. My son and I were fortunate enough to see a whole herd of majestic Rocky Mountain Bighorn Sheep alongside the road on the eastern side of the park. This was before the busy season, so we spent a long time viewing and photographing the herd.

This painting captures the leader.
