This image was composed from a photo of a snow covered oak tree branch located in the mountains of Southern California, about 75 miles north of Los Angeles. I placed the photo in my computer in order to double the images and place it together symmetrically, so that it resembled a human face. I am very interested in how many things in nature resemble a human face when assembled into a symmetrical pattern.
